We present to you our exciting collaboration with 9EV, that brings you the future of classic 911’s.
This is a unique opportunity to acquire the only electric 911 currently for sale in the world.
Build number 91EV began life as a wonderful Guards red 1979 Porsche 3.0 SC, enjoyed and cared for by previous custodians and driven to an impressive 134k miles without being restored or refurbished; remaining in fantastic original condition with a commensurate patina.
It lent itself to be the perfect donor car for this spectacular 9EV restoration and incidentally, nearly every item that was surplus to the build was refurbished and recycled, with those parts having now helped keep other internal combustion 911’s on the road for years to come.
All 9EV builds are meticulously restored utilising modern materials and state of the art components to enhance the revolutionary power overhaul. This process is overseen by expects in the field, ensuring every car could pass the grandstand for an original zuffenhouse creation.
Countless hours have been invested in creating this engineering masterpiece and we are proud to say that, to the untrained eye, this could easily pass for a “typical” homage to the ‘73 RS.
The aesthetic finish is in stunning Miami Blue with black and corduroy sport seats, all surrounded by wonderful original carpets complete with Miami blue stitching and a period look dashboard and correct ‘73 steering wheel. Does a classic and simplistic 911 experience get much better than this?
The driving force producing a tuneable 400+bhp is a Tesla Large drive unit lifted from 2019 Model S with just 4500 miles on the clock. Powering the motor to over 800 amps is a brand new custom Lithium Iron 53KWh battery pack split into two low slung sealed boxes at each end of the car.
The liquid cooling system runs through the veins of both battery and motor, and bespoke gauges keep an eye on all systems and ensure ultimate reliability.
An onboard Orion charger and battery management system allow simple maintenance free charging at work or at home and ensure the “fuel tank” stays in optimum condition.
This particular model also features optional electronic power steering, traction control, a Quaife limited slip differential and even a standalone air conditioning system.
Performance is just mind boggling, with instant torque from 0 rpm helping to propel this car from 0-60 mph in supercar-fast 3.5 seconds. All of that with a a kerb weight of just 1274KG, allows for up to 180 miles in range.
The chassis has been fine tuned and upgraded to beyond 911 turbo specification including components from Bilstein, Eibach and Elephant Racing to name a few. The car has then been setup on our in-house 2022 Beissbarth 3D alignment system.
The way this car handles and exits corners is like no other 911; it can certainly shame most modern cars with its performance.
We have been privileged to be part of the development programme and can assist with tailoring this car to your exact requirements. We’ve learnt through the development that we all have very different driving styles, and with a broad range of digital control over the motor, we can fine tune the car to your exact specification.
The benefits of an electric converted classic become immediately apparent after the first few trips. There’s no more warming up, no worry for balancing the carbs, and none about clutch control or gear engagement. Add to that no more oil level checks or leaks, queuing up at petrol stations - and even servicing is almost a thing of the past as the motors are checked every 100K miles!
