The Porsche 991 was produced from its Geneva launch in 2011 all the way through till 2019, replacing the popular and well regarded 997. Compared to its predecessor the 991 is slightly larger but weight distribution and cornering performance has been enhanced, due to a new transaxle that meant the rear wheels could be positioned further back in relation to the engine.

With impressive performance figures a side, the endless joy of open topped modern motoring in a Porsche 911 must surely be the appeal of this 991 Carrera. Finished in the Platinum Silver (more commonly found on the GTS's), black leather interior and red cabriolet roof. Visually enhanced with Porsche's Sport Design package this 991 is a real head turner to be enjoyed just in time for the impending summer months.

This Carrera is fitted with a 3.4 litre engine, producing a spritely 350bhp, with performance times of 0-62 mph of just under 5 seconds and a top speed of 176mph. This first generation 991 marked the end of the normally aspirated flat six to be offered by Porsche as it soon (Gen 2) introduced turbo charged engines across the range.

Overall condition is superb having been well looked after but its 3 former keepers (4 in total), most recently owned and enjoyed in Poole on the South coast it was deemed that a newer BMW offering was an 'upgrade' to this 991, our biased mindset is yet to be convinced!
