We are very pleased to be offering for sale this now stunning 996 Mk1 3.4 manual coupe.

When we first obtained this car from its 4th owner, it was clear that there were several cosmetic areas that needed attention, the wheels had the common corroded lips, the bumpers had a few marks, and there was some laquer peel on the nearside rear quarter panel – all quite typical really for a car of its age and mileage.
The good news was all stickers were still present and correct and the car was very original throughout.
After finding the odd smaller marks elsewhere, we made the bold decision to embark on a full strip down and glass out repaint in correct GT3 Speed Yellow, finished off with Genuine GT3 rear badge and door entry steps, it really does now look the part versus its former arctic silver self.

This car was also previously a Carrera 4, we knew the original GT3’s used a C4 bodyshell as they were much stiffer and more re-inforced so we thought it fiting to convert to 2wd whilst we were there, it has made a notable difference to the performance and handling of the car, and moves it closer to the original – a real drivers car!

The nice options that most real GT3’s did not get include Litronic (Xenon) Headlamps
Heated electric memory seats and a Sunroof, coupled to its factory GT3 Aerokit, M030 Suspension and GT3 wheels its as close as you will get for a fraction of the price of the real thing.

The only aftermarket additions by a previous owner are a double din sat nav unit and Powerflow “GT3 Sound” exhaust, which really is quite loud, sounds fantastic if you are exploring the rev range but does drone a little if casually driving.

We have also had the wheels professionally split and refurbished and whilst away we treated it to new sebro discs with textar brake pads all round.
With the front PU was off we renewed both AC condensors and re-gassed the air conditioning, various other items were renewed whilst the opportunity was there and we will be carrying out a Major Service and ensure a new years MOT will be included before it leaves us, plus a comprehensive 6 month warranty.

This car will certainly provide many years of enjoyment and certainly lose less money than a new Golf GTi, what alot of fun for under £20K
